Sculpture made in moulded alabaster, with patinas of ageing and finished with gold leaf and oil polychromy.
Measurements: Height: 65 cm. Width: 40 cm. Depth: 29 cm.
Reproduction of a sculpture inspired by The Kiss, a painting by the Austrian artist Gustav Klimt (1862-1918). It is assumed that in this image the painter depicts himself and his companion Emilie Flöge, signifying the triumph of love. Klimt is characterised within the Art Nouveau movement by his high decorative sense and his use of gilding.
