Among his many meanings, Ganesha is the God of Wisdom and Intelligence. Son of Shiva and Parvati. He is represented with a human body with the head of an elephant with a curved trunk, big ears and a split tusk. He is depicted with many attributes, reflecting spiritual balance, the fruit of wisdom. We find him in representations with a mouse at his feet, symbolising the impulses and desires that must be controlled.
