The reproduction we present here is inspired by a relief from a temple in the region of Karnataka, India. Its antiquity dates from the 10th to the 12th centuries AD.
The Gandharvas are flying celestial seles of Hindu mythology. They are considered nature spirits with great relationship with the plant world and skills with music.
