Measurements: Height: 120 cm. Width: 67 cm. Depth: 7 cm.
Polychrome bas-relief inspired by the painting by the Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli (1445 – 1510), ” The Spring“. This painting depicts the birth of Spring, presided over by the goddess Venus, who appears with her hand raised in welcome. Above her appears Cupid, the god of love, represented in this reproduction with an orange branch instead of a bow and arrows, referring to the orange trees in the original painting which allude to the coat of arms of the Medici, the ruling family of Florence and true patrons of the Renaissance.
