Reproduction of a torso, a fragment of a male nude by the Athenian sculptor Apollonius of Athens, probably from the 2nd century BC. The statue was discovered in its current state in the Campo dei Fiori during the papacy of Julius II (1503-1513) and was displayed in the Belvedere courtyard, from which it took its name.
Our favorite outdoor spaces, gardens, and terraces, acquire special elegance when we incorporate reproductions of classical sculptures and famous works into their decoration, such as this Torso of Belvedere. This sculpture, capturing the strength and movement of Hellenistic art, blends with the surrounding vegetation, adding a timeless touch to the outdoor corners of our home and inspiring a sense of splendor.
The molded stone or marble with resin used to replicate these ancient works withstands outdoor conditions well, ensuring their durability and resistance when exposed to the elements.
When we incorporate these sculptures into outdoor decoration, such as in our gardens, patios, and terraces, we infuse them with an air of nobility and serenity in these special corners of our home. In them, historical and mythological figures, such as gods and heroes, goddesses and nymphs, emperors and warriors, blend with the vegetation, creating a special connection between history and myth, nature and art.
Reproductions of sculptures from ancient, Renaissance, or neoclassical art become central pieces that stand out in our garden, creating a special atmosphere. Decorating with recreations of great classical sculptures can transform our outdoor spaces into unique settings for relaxation, reflection, and meditation.
