Reproduction of a sculpture of the Nordic god Odin. In Scandinavian mythology, Odin was the father of the gods, and god of wisdom, poetry, prophecy and magic, war, victory and death. Among the Germanic peoples he was called Wotan.

In this sculpture he is depicted seated on a throne, holding a spear, with a wolf at his feet and one of his two messenger ravens on his shoulder.
