Description
We present three faithful reproductions of Mesopotamian reliefs made of high-quality molded marble, with an appearance and texture that imitates the clay tablets of the ancient cultures of Mesopotamia.
The material is molded marble (marble powder plus binders) with a finish that imitates clay and an application of aging patinas based on natural earth.

The first piece is a reproduction of a cuneiform tablet, a Sumerian pharmacopoeia recipe tablet, an exact reproduction of one of the oldest medical texts in the world. This recipe book contains formulas and treatments for diseases and common ailments in ancient Mesopotamia, making it a piece of great historical and cultural value.
The second piece is a relief from an Akkadian cylinder seal showing the giant Enkidu fighting a lion. Enkidu is a fascinating character from Sumerian mythology, a friend and companion of the hero Gilgamesh.
Finally, the third piece is a relief with a Mesopotamian king in an attitude of offering before a column on which appears a star as a symbol of a god; a perfect piece for those looking to add a touch of antiquity to their home.
