Renaissance Relief “Hercules crowned by the goddess Victoria“.
It Gives good name to the concept of body herculean. The hero is endowed with a formidable musculature, well proportioned torso, Apollonian stature. Next to him, a series of symbolic attributes appear, like the skin of Nemea, in clear allusion to one of the twelve works carried out in its mythical epic. Crowning him, appears the Goddess giving him the crown of laurel’s leaves of Victory.
