Recreation of a medieval relief, taken from the chest of San Millán de la Cogolla, which was made in the 11th century in a style of transition between Mozarabic and Romanesque art. The original piece is a reliquary, a wooden box with twenty-two attached carved ivory plaques depicting episodes from the life of the saint. This plaque depicts the figure of San Millán surrounded by his disciples.
