Description

Measurements:

Relief with frame: Height: 48 cm. Width: 38 cm. Depth: 4 cm.

This relief is based on a 19th century engraving by the engraver Thomas Baxter (1782-1821). The original plate is in the New York Public Library.

The goddess Iris was the messenger of the gods in Greek mythology, and was known as the bearer of the rainbow. She was believed to travel the sky on golden wings, carrying messages from the gods to humans. Iris symbolises the connection between the gods and humanity.

This relief is a unique decorative piece that will bring a classic and elegant nuance to any space, the perfect choice to add a touch of culture and distinction to your home.
