Bas-relief made of moulded alabaster and polychromed in oil with age patinas. Silver-plated panel with ornaments made in moulded alabaster.

Polychrome bas-reliefs inspired by the painting by the Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli (1445 – 1510), “The Spring“. This painting depicts the birth of Spring. Next to the goddess Venus, who presides over the scene, appear the Three Graces, holding hands in a dancing attitude. Botticelli’s paintings do not faithfully represent reality; the figures are suspended in an idyllic place in a space outside of time.
