This pátera is a sacrificial offering dish found in Titulcia, Villaconejos (Madrid). The original is silver with some lines of gold.
The Titulcia Pátera, also popularly known as the Medusa of Titulcia, is a silver and gold pátera, of the phiále mesómphalos type (or patera umbilicata in Latin), dating from between the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. It was made by the Carpetanos, a pre-Roman people that formed part of the Celtic tribes, who inhabited the central area of the Iberian Peninsula, mainly between the upper reaches of the Tagus River and the upper basin of the Guadiana River, in the territory that includes part of the present-day Spanish provinces of Gua
