Reproduction of high quality polychrome decorative figures of samurai and geisha, made of reconstituted marble (marble powder agglutinated with chronolite) and finely polished. Patinated with polychrome and natural earths that give it the finish of a sculpture embellished by the passage of time.
Height of both figures: 18 cm.

The samurai were a Japanese military elite formed by clans of warrior landowners. They were characterised by a stoic attitude to death and the following of some of the precepts of Bushido, the way of the warrior.
Geisha were educated from childhood in music and various disciplines, their purpose was to provide entertainment through singing, dancing and conversation at parties and establishments such as teahouses and traditional Japanese restaurants.
