Pair of porcelain enamelled figurines. “Peasant musicians”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).

Pair of porcelain figures. Both figures are dressed according to 18th-century peasant fashion, but my idealised and with a mixture of upper-class costumes. This type of bucolic scenes or figures were very much appreciated in Rococo art, being produced since then in the main porcelain factories of Europe. The enamelling and type link the works to the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).
