Description

Height: 13 cm
Reproduction of an Etruscan statuette in the position of an offering. The Etruscans were a people who settled in the centre of the Italian peninsula around the first millennium BC, in what is now the region of Tuscany. They became a major naval power in the western Mediterranean, establishing factories in Sardinia and Corsica. However, around the 5th century BC, their power began to deteriorate sharply, largely because they had to face the Celtic invasions and the attacks of the Greeks and Carthaginians at almost the same time, and were finally defeated and absorbed by the Roman culture.
Decorative elements, archaeological reproductions from Antiquity. Ideal for decoration or as a gift.
