Description
Mosaic made in a completely handmade way, following the same techniques as thousands of years ago.
The technique used is “opus teselarium”, a mosaic of cubic stone tesserae.
In its manufacture, 8 mm tesserae of natural stones and marbles have been used. Fixed in mortar with a metal structure. Ready to be hung on the wall or as flooring on the floor.
The “Cratera” two-chrome mosaic is not known to us to be an exact reproduction of any original.
It is based on the Mosaic of the bear and birds of Astorga and the Mosaic of the Craters of the Roman city of Clunia.
