Reproduction of a Roman mosaic with the inscription “Per Aspera ad Astra“, completely handmade, following the same techniques as thousands of years ago.

Measurements:

Height: 21 cm. Width: 24 cm. Depth: 2.5 cm.

The technique used is “opus teselarium”, a mosaic of cubic stone tesserae.

Tesserae of up to 8 mm of natural stone and marble have been used in its manufacture. Fixed in mortar with a metal structure. Ready to be hung on the wall or as flooring on the floor.

Reproduction of a Roman-style mosaic with the Latin inscription “Per Aspera ad Astra”, “Along the rough path, to the stars”, sometimes translated as “Through effort, triumph”.
