Reproduction of the famous “Johann Strauss Monument“. The original can be found in the Stadtpark in Vienna. The sculptor was Edmund Hellmer who made it in 1921.
Johann Strauss II (1825 – 1899), also known as Johann Baptist Strauss or Johann Strauss, Jr., the Younger or the Son, was an Austrian composer of light music, especially dance music (waltzes, polkas) and operettas. His most famous work is the waltz The Blue Danube.
