Reproduction of a relief representing a Mede nobleman, made in reconstituted marble (marble powder + binder), finished with ageing patinas.
Measurements:

The relief reproduced here depicts a Mede nobleman. The Medes were a people of Indo-European origin who settled in northern Mesopotamia in the Zagros Mountains (present-day Iran) at the beginning of the 1st millennium BC. After a few centuries as vassals of the Assyrian empire, in the 8th and 7th centuries BC they formed an independent empire until their absorption by the Persian empire.
