His birth was already crucial, being marked by the struggle between his mother’s decision to save his life at all costs, and his father’s obsession to devour him, in order to avoid, unsuccessfully, the prophecy of his parents, the gods Uranus and Gaea, that it would be one of his own children who would end up snatching the throne from him.
