Reproduction of a relief of an Iberian horseman, Osuna (Seville). This relief was part of a stele found in Osuna, dated to the 3rd century BC. Its shape suggests that it belonged to the top of a funerary monument. The original is in the National Archaeological Museum, Madrid.
Something that amazed the Romans was the Iberians’ mastery of their horses, as they were trained in such a way that they would kneel at the command of their owner.
