Fidias’ Horse (British Museum. 5th century B.C.).
Reproduction of a marble fragment depicting the head and chest of a horse with raised legs and in a neighing posture. Discovered in the 19th century in Civita Lavinia, it belongs to the Greek tradition of Athenian art from the 5th century B.C. It is currently housed in the British Museum (London).
