Reproduction of a relief of an Iberian warrior. Osuna (Seville). The original of this piece is in the Archaeological Museum of Madrid.

This limestone relief is part of a corner ashlar of what was a funerary monument in the ancient city of Urso (Osuna, Seville). We can see a warrior on foot with an enormous oval shield in an attitude of combat and wielding a falcata (Iberian sword). The serenity of the face, even before battle, is a characteristic feature of Iberian statuary.
