Reproduction of an Iberian statuette. The original is in the National Archaeological Museum of Madrid (M.A.N.).
The figure represents a warrior with his hair tied back with a thin band and the back part combed with two long braids behind his ears. Contoured eyes. Short tunic in the form of a square mesh where the rigidity of the fabric can be appreciated, the Greeks called it Linotorax (linen armour), it protected from cuts, with the lower part in the form of a point in order to protect the sexual organs. His left hand holds a round shield or caetra, and in his right hand a dagger.
