Description

Reproduction of a figure of Iberian origin made in lost wax bronze.

Measurements: Width: 9 cm. Depth: 4 cm. Height: 12 cm.

Reproduction of an Iberian votive offering. The original was found in the sanctuary of “Collado de los Jardines”, Despeñaperros (Jaén), where pilgrims made their offerings to the gods. It is currently in the National Archaeological Museum of Madrid (M.A.N.).

It depicts a helmeted warrior with large, contoured eyes, dressed in a tunic covered by a jacket with a side slit. He carries a falcata (Iberian sword or short machete) at his waist. His right hand is open, and in his left hand he holds a spear.

Decorative elements, archaeological reproductions from Antiquity. Ideal for decoration or as a gift.
