Figure of the Goddess Artemis on column, both made of reconstituted marble (marble powder plus binder). Figure patinated in bronze, column with marble finish.

To ensure safe transport, the figure is shipped disassembled with self-adhesive to stick on the pedestal.

In Greek mythology, Artemis (Diana in Rome) was described as the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was the goddess of hunting, wild animals, virgin nature, childbirth, virginity and maidens. She was often depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows. The stag and the cypress were consecrated to her.
