Florentine Lady Bas-relief. Relief based on the Renaissance murals painted by Andrea Mantegna in the Camera degli Sposi in the Ducal Palace of Mantua (Italy, 1465 and 1474).
Andrea Mantegna (1431-1506) was an Italian Quattrocento artist, a court painter for the Gonzaga family, Dukes of Mantua. His painting is characterized by technical perfection and his obsession with the human figure, inspired by the art of Greco-Roman antiquity and other artists such as Donatello. He developed and improved the technique of foreshortening, with figures represented in difficult perspectives seen from below.
Decorating with reproductions of classic reliefs inspired by Renaissance works brings into our homes an era of great artistic and cultural splendor. These pieces capture the harmony and elegance characteristic of Renaissance art.
The reliefs, with their depth and detail, add a unique dimension to any space, whether it’s a living room, a study, or a library.
