Reproduction of an Iberian statuette of a praying woman. The votive offering was found in the ‘Collado de los Jardines’ sanctuary on the Despeñaperros road (Jaén), where pilgrims made their offerings to the gods. The original is in the National Archaeological Museum of Madrid (M.A.N.).
Elongated female figure with very detailed features. She is depicted standing with her legs open, her breasts, waist and hips are marked, and her arms are outstretched with her wrists bent in an attitude of prayer.
