Reproduction of a Roman statuette of Mercury that was found on the L’Alter estate in Xilxes (Castellón). The original is in the Historical Museum of the City of Burriana (Castellón), dating from the 1st century AD.
The god Mercury is shown standing upright, wearing a chlamys, which is held on his shoulder with a fibula, his right arm separated from his body and with a bag in his hand. On his head he wears a petasus or winged hat and on his feet he wears sandals.
