Reproduction of a figure of Venus, made in lost wax bronze.

Reproduction of a Roman figure of Venus. The original is in the Museum of La Rioja, dating from the 2nd century AD. It was found at the Roman site of Libia, Herramélluri, in La Rioja.

The figure is dressed with a himation wrapped around the waist, the ends falling forward, leaving the breasts bare, the right breast covered with the right hand. The hair is divided at the nape of the neck into two plaits that fall over the shoulders. The figure wears a diadem.
