In this figure we reproduce Auguste Rodin’s most famous work, The Thinker, created between 1880 and 1881 to form part of the monumental sculptural ensemble The Gateway to Hell, inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy.

Auguste Rodin (1840-1917), a French sculptor, broke with the canons of the academicism of his time, and is considered the father of modern sculpture.
