In Greek and Roman mythology, is Apollo one of the most important and multifaceted Olympian gods. The ideal of the kouros (beardless youth), Apollo has been variously recognized as a god of light and sun; truth and prophecy; archery; medicine and healing; music, poetry and arts; and more. Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto and twin brother of the virgin huntress Artemis. It is known as Apulu in Etruscan mythology, influenced by the Greek. Apollo was worshiped in ancient Greek and Roman religion, as well as the modern Neo-Hellenism.
