In this figure we reproduce “The Kiss“, one of Auguste Rodin‘s most famous works, created between 1888 and 1898, initially to form part of the monumental sculptural ensemble The Gate of Hell, inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy, it was finally exhibited as an autonomous sculpture.
Auguste Rodin (1840-1917), a French sculptor, broke with the canons of the academicism of his time, and is considered the father of modern sculpture.
