Romantic Victorian painter of portraits and everyday scenes of life in ancient Egypt, Greece and ancient Rome. His paintings are loaded with a great sensuality and aesthetics. The research on archaeology that he made in his canvases, being inspiration today for film directors of Hollyvood and prestigious decorators looking for Greek and Roman evocation in the creation of environments.
