Reproduction of a Paleo-Christian Roman figure made in lost wax bronze.

Measurements: 21 x 6 x 8 cm

Reproduction of a Christian lucerne. This Lucerne was found on the banks of the Guadalquivir next to the monastery of the Martyrs of Cordoba.  It has curved branch handles and a small cross. The original is in the Archaeological Museum of Córdoba.

Lanterns, candles or oil lamps were the usual means of illumination in the houses of Ancient Rome.
