A small cherub stands at the foot of the candlestick to pick a flower from the plant that climbs up it. The decorative elements show the influence of models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres: vegetal elements, scrolls, leaves, strings of pearls, the colours (especially this particular shade of blue), etc.
