Tiberius Julius Caesar Augustus (42 BC – 37 AD) was the second of the emperors of Rome, successor of Octavian Augustus. Despite his bad reputation spread by Roman historians, he left a healthy treasury and a strengthened and consolidated Empire. On his death, Caligula was named as his successor.
