Lucius Ceionius Commodus Verus Armeniacus (130 AD – 169 AD), commonly known as Lucius Verus Antoninus, was a Roman co-emperor alongside Marcus Aurelius from the year 161 until the time of his death. Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus were adopted sons of Antoninus Pius appointed by Hadrian, and they were the first two emperors to rule together in the history of Rome.

The rule of the two co-emperors, Lucius Verus Antoninus and Marcus Aurelius, played a crucial role in the period of the Roman Empire in the 2nd century, culminating in the era of stability and splendor characteristic of the Antonine dynasty. Both emperors faced challenges such as the Parthian War and the spread of plagues, including the so-called Antonine Plague.
