War chariot with two Pegasos made of cast bronze. Reproduction in bronze using the lost wax process.
It is a piece that represents a war chariot with two Pegasos and that is of Etruscan origin.
Etruscan art was the form of visual art that was developed by the Etruscan civilization which existed in northern Italy between the ninth century and the second century before Christ. The art that is preserved is of funeral character, connected both with the paintings (fresco) and with the sculpture. They were also skilled artisans, such as those that painted ceramic jugs in imitation of Greek models, and excellent jewelers and metal workers, highlighting their ancient bronze mirror with engravings.
