Relief inspired by the representation of the goddess Sekhmet from Tutankhamun’s treasures. Sekhmet is the lioness-headed goddess, executor of Inexorable Fate (related to the Nemesis of the Greeks and the Fatum of the Romans). She was called “The Mighty One, The Lady”, she represents the will and the strength of the soul. She symbolises destiny, understood as the application of the law of cause and effect, i.e. she executes the divine designs on Earth.
Sekhmet, “the most powerful”, “the terrible”, was the symbol of strength and power in Egyptian mythology. She was also the goddess of war and vengeance. She was known by the names Sakhmet, Sekhet, Sekhem, Shakti, Nesert.
