Description
Reproduction of a figure of Roman origin, made in bronze using the lost wax process.
The original is located in the National Archaeological Museum of Madrid (MAN)
Decorated with the figure of the “good shepherd”, dressed in tunic and carries a lamb on his shoulder. On the sides are the pot handle. Below the handles there is a lug to weld the oil lamp. It dates from the second half of the fourth century or beginning of the fifth century after Christ. The origin is unknown.
