Artemis-Diana huntress with bow. Reproductions of sculptures inspired by neoclassical and art nouveau art. Handmade in Spain. Ideal for interior decoration (living rooms, lobbies, libraries, and offices).
The Roman goddess Diana, equivalent to Artemis in Greece, was revered as the goddess of hunting, nature, and the Moon. Daughter of Zeus and Leto, she was born along with her twin Apollo on the island of Delos. A virgin goddess of nature, Diana is the protector of wild animals and maidens. Her bow and arrows symbolize her skill in hunting. She was associated with Selene, assuming her role as the Goddess of the Moon. She is often depicted wearing a short tunic, adorned with a diadem, carrying a bow and arrows, and accompanied by animals such as dogs and deer.
Interior decoration takes on its own personality and expression when we incorporate reproductions that express the beauty of art, such as this sculpture of Diana the huntress. With these figures, whether copies of masterpieces from antiquity or sculptures from recent centuries, we add a touch of originality and splendor to the favorite corners of our home. In the living room, these figures can become central pieces that capture attention and stimulate conversation, while in the library or office, they create a relaxing and inspiring atmosphere for daily work.
Through representations of Greco-Roman deities like Diana, Apollo, Venus, or Bacchus, we showcase not only the aesthetics of classical art but also the symbolic richness of ancient mythology.
These pieces establish a connection between the symbolism of classical myths and art, recalling the enduring legacy of classical antiquity.
