Islamic Art
We present this section of pieces and decorative elements of Islamic art.
In order to contemplate and understand any aesthetic manifestation of Islam, it is necessary to strip ourselves of other cultural conditioning factors and immerse ourselves in Muslim culture, especially in the Arab world. Â A markedly religious character prevails in this culture, but without any representation of animals or people. The drawing and geometric forms, the repetitive rhythm, the epigraphs with texts from the Koran, merge with the importance of water and light.
In our collections you will find magnificent reconstituted marble reliefs with epigraphs and architectural recreations of the Alhambra or the Mosque of Cordoba.
You will also find a section of unique pieces of Nasrid ceramics with golden sparkles made in the most prestigious potteries in the world.
We have also incorporated fountains, lamps, ceramics and columns from the Arab world.
