Albert Joseph Moore (1841-1893) was a British painter. (York, 1841-London, 1893) Initiated in the decorative arts, his works, which combine elements of Hellenic and pre-Raphaelite, exemplify Victorian aesthetics. Moore supposes a dreamy encounter with the universal female.
