Separated by the Himalayas, India and Tibet bring us closer to spirituality, to the mystery of Wisdom.

The art that we find in India can be defined as an art that expresses subtle, ethereal, sacred elements, in which we appreciate forms that, together with timeless symbols, offer us the possibility of entering a higher dimension and a plane also necessary to conquer.

In their representations, both in sculpture and paintings, we see their gods, they tell us their stories and legends of Love, Life and Death. Nature is represented through beautiful plants as the center of the scenes, as well as animals of the marine world, birds and elephants.

In many Buddhist and Jain sculptures, one can appreciate postures in meditation, transmitting serenity and transcendence. They were made of marble, bronze, stone, sandstone and clay.

Profound religiosity is also found in Tibetan art, which can be considered sacred art.  Tibetan Buddhism had a great influence on culture and art.
